X3 Hockey is a high-end skill development and mentoring program for motivated hockey players of all ages throughout MetroWest. Through our clinics, camps and private instruction, we create an arena where athletes are trained to stretch beyond their personal comfort zones, inspired to experience the thrill of the game and mentored to discover all that the game of hockey has to teach.
Our mission is to educate, inspire and guide you to be your best hockey player, teammate and person. We’re passionate about the sport and continuously seek the most advanced methods for teaching and learning the great game of hockey. We relentlessly pursue excellence - excellence in your performance and in our teaching practice. We’re determined to be the best, most principled resource on your team as you advance your game.
We believe that hockey skills are the foundation of your game. Skating (speed, power, agility and efficiency), stick skills (puck handling, protection, passing, receiving and shooting) and decision-making (based on a complete understanding of the game) must be developed concurrently and continuously.
We believe that skills must be learned in context and through repetition. Whether you're a young developing player or a skilled professional, you'll advance your game by repeating progressively challenging skills and implementing them in game situations.
We believe that a passion for competition sets the best players apart from the rest. Developing your competitive mindset and a passion to be great is essential to becoming an exceptional hockey player.
We believe that hockey is a game and that you play the game because it's fun. Our passion for the sport is evident in our excitement for practice and competition and in the respect we give to every step of your development.
Finally, we believe that our greatest accomplishment together is for you to be known as a great teammate and a respected individual. Ultimately, hockey is a vehicle for your personal growth. Your most enduring lessons will be learned through the challenges you face and the ways in which you support (and are supported by) your teammates and everyone you meet when you play hockey.
